This picture is the kitchen Sunday afternoon - we've getting it ready for what's coming!
I want to write about Italy... but we have this kitchen thing going on and it's impossible to ignore. So here are a few photos of two-days destruction. I'm writing about this for next week's Tribune column, and it's all about how - after 13 years of patching - we finally had to clean everything out down to the concrete and studs, cut out the mildew, and build from scratch.
Simply put you can't ever really move forward until you have dealt with the reason's everything is rotten to begin with!
The picture to the right was taken halfway through the day on Monday. The next shot is the end of the day. Then the last photo comes from Tuesday afternoon.
Listen to what Paul has to say in Corinthians. Spot on as always! "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation...." (2 Corinthians 5:17-18)
Today? We'll just have to hold on to our hats!
